Welcome to the 2017-18 school year! I am excited to get to know my first graders. Thanks so much for coming to Back to School night and for sending in all of the wonderful supplies. We have been busy with beginning of the year assessments and reviewing rules and classroom procedures. My aide, Jodie Patterson, started this week also! She is very experienced with first graders and is looking forward to working with my class in small groups. Our first music lesson was on Tuesday August 22nd. The kids learned a song on the recorder and brought home their music to practice at home. Thank you for bringing in the donations of $5 for the recorders. Mrs. Reimer said they had a great first lesson! Way to go first graders!!

 

Our first homework packet will go home on Monday August 28th and is due back on Friday September 1st. Please let me know if you have any questions.
