Dear Students, Parents, and Families of B-4,
Welcome to the new school year! YAY!!!! I am so excited to have your child in my class and am looking forward to a great year. We will have many experiences and opportunities to learn and grow together in the days ahead. We will be developing our classroom expectations and routines during the first few weeks of school. In addition to this, we will be reviewing curriculum and adjusting to being back in school J. Your child will not have homework for the first week of school. I will be going over homework procedures and third grade expectations at our Back to School Night. I have lots of exciting news to share for this year!
Back to School Night is Thursday, August 15th from 6:10-6:40 p.m. I will be discussing important information about your student’s school year and answering questions. Please be sure to attend this important event. Until then, I have included some general information that should be helpful.

If you would like to discuss a particular matter, please schedule an appointment either before or after school. This way I can give you the attention that you deserve without interruptions. It is difficult to answer questions or concerns during school hours, as I am busy attending to the needs of the students.
I will be providing time in the morning for snack. Please send a nutritious snack. Please note that our lunch time is not until 12:10. It is important that your child eats a good breakfast, as it is a longer work morning.
